Shop Hog Wild started in 2008 as a spin off from Hog Wild Custom Painting. Our other business. Which was started back in 2005. As a child, John spent his days watching his father Paint and restore classic cars. It was during this time that John learned the value of every automobile, and learned techniques from an early age and his love for Custom Painting. When John graduated high school he decided to further his education in this field and enhance his deep knowledge of Colors and Painting. John went on to Complete his Certification in accomplishment for PPG Training of Ceritified Refinish Technician Silver, Bronze, Blue, Color 21, and Deltron Certification 21. He is now finishing his last and only one left which is the Gold. Although John was learning the most advanced techniques in Painting, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago. His father used to Paint and restore cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. John never forgot the gratitude of those his father helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his father would deliver a Painted or restored vehicle to someone who couldn't afford a new one. John was determined to honor his father by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of size or how large his business grew.  John opened Vastag & Barre's Custom VW's & Auto Services in 1996. In Rockledge, FL. He had to shut his doors when his partner had to have Open heart Surgery.
